Kontakt Improvizáció workshop Urs Staufferrel
Nagy-nagy öröm és hála van bennem, hogy Urs Stauffer immáron negyedik alkalommal jön hozzánk Budapestre, megosztani velünk több évtizedes tapasztalát és munkáját a Kontakt Improvizációban és Body-Mind Centring-ben. Szeretettel várunk, akár első alkalommal jössz, akár többedszerre, sokadszorra.

A gravitáció – bármi is legyen – Steve Paxton egyik örök kedvenc témája volt, amely egyszersmind egyik legfőbb fókuszát adja a Kontakt Improvizáció gyakorlásának. Úgy tűnik, a gravitáció tapasztalatának valamiképpen abban a pillanatban tudatára ébrednek sejtjeink, amint anyagi formát öltünk. Ezen a műhelyen a másik emberrel együtt zuhanás örömét szeretném felfedezni veledtek. Megtalálni a zuhanás izgalmát, ahogyan biztonsággal adjuk bele magunkat. Nagyon érdekel, hogy miképpen folytatódhat a tánc azokban a pillanatokban is, amikor a legjobb megoldásnak az tűnhet, hogy a Földanya ölelésébe érkezzünk…
Munkámban, mint mindig a Steve-vel való munka tapasztalatai részét képezik annak, amit megosztok veletek, csak úgy, mint a Body-Mind Centering® néhány alapelve.
---Ursról---
1989-ben találkoztam először Steve Paxtonnal és mélyen megérintett a tánca. A rákövetkező évben, 1990-ben volt előszöt alkalmam Bonnie Bainbridge Cohennel dolgozni és rögtön tudtam, hogy a Body-Mind Centering® egy életen át tartó tanulmány lesz a számomra. Ettől kezdve folyamatosan dolgoztam ezzel a két mesterrel, akik nagyon nagy hatással vannak a mozgáskutatásomra.
A School for Body-Mind Centering által akkrediált szomatikus mozgás tanár és kezelő vagyok, a kontakt improvizáció általam képviselt felfogását pedig Steve Paxton személyes jóváhagyásával osztom meg.

Contact Improvisation workshop with Urs Stauffer
---Workshop description---
Gravity - what ever it might be - was one of the all-time favorite subjects of Steve Paxton and probably one of the main issues we deal with in Contact Improvisation. The experience of it seems to come to our cellular awareness in some way as soon as we become mater. I would love to explore with you during this workshop the pleasure and joy of falling together with another person. Finding the excitement of falling, of giving into it safely. I’m very much interested in finding ways to keep the dance going, even in the moments when the best solution seems to fall into the arms of Mother Earth…
As always in my work, my own experiences with Steve will be part of what I can share with you just as much as some principles from Body-Mind Centering® that I will introduce.
---About Urs---
I met Steve Paxton for the first time in 1989 and was deeply impressed by his dance. The year after, 1990, I had for the first time the chance to work with Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen and knew right away that Body-Mind Centering® would be a life time project for me. Ever since I kept working with both of these persons that are of great influence in my movement research. I am Somatic Movement Educator and Practitioner certified by the School of Body-Mind Centering and I share my understanding of Contact Improvisation with the personal agreement of Steve Paxton.
