A Balázs Elemér Group negyedszázados fennállása során minden fontos évfordulóját a Müpában ünnepelte. A Balázs Elemér által vezetett, egyedülálló hangvételű együttes mindvégig megőrizte azt a művészi koncepciót, amelynek köszönhetően a zenei szakma és a közönség egyaránt úgy ítélte meg, hogy a hazai jazzélet élvonalában a helyük. Bizonyíték erre három Fonogram-díjuk, telt házas koncertjeik sorozata, valamint a rengeteg meghívás Európa nagyvárosaiba. A női és férfi énekhang középpontba állítása, a zenei stílusok ízléses vegyítése és a dallamközpontú szerzemények mind a BEG védjegyei. Erre az estre három olyan vendéget hívtak meg, akik egykor hozzájárultak a zenekar sikeréhez. Ifj. Balázs Elemér fellépése a crossover-szálat, no meg az apai büszkeséget erősíti.

In the 25 years since the foundation of the Balázs Elemér Group, the band has celebrated every significant anniversary at Müpa Budapest. The unique ensemble led by Elemér Balázs has maintained the same artistic concept since the very start, it is no wonder, therefore, that both the audience and professional musicians consider them to be in the highest echelons of Hungary’s jazz elite. Testaments to this are their three Fonogram awards, regularly sold-out concerts, and the plethora of invitations they receive to other European capitals. A focus on male and female vocals, the tasteful blending of musical styles, and melody-driven compositions are all hallmarks of BEG. For this evening, they have invited three guests who all contributed to the success of the band in some manner. The appearance of Elemér Balázs Jr reinforces the crossover angle, while also doubling as an expression of fatherly pride.
