Five-Element Qigong & Intuitive Dance Workshop Series
This five-class workshop series invites you into a journey of movement, breath, and embodied awareness through the wisdom of the Five Elements and the freedom of intuitive dance.
In the first part of each class, we explore the fluid, energizing movements of Qigong — a moving meditation originating from Traditional Chinese Medicine, where qi means life energy and gong means cultivation or practice.
Through gentle warm-ups and a form learned together step by step, we will:
• Open the body’s energy lines (meridians)
• Soften joints and muscles
• Connect movement with breath and presence
• Cultivate inner flow, vitality, and balance
Each session focuses on one of the Five Elements (Metal, Water, Wood, Fire, Earth), allowing us to gradually deepen our experience and understanding while building a complete Five-Element Qigong form over the series.
In the second half of the class, we transition into intuitive and freestyle dance, using the qualities of each element as inspiration for creative exploration. Here, movement becomes personal and expressive as we:
• Explore emotions, sensations, and energy through free movement
• Develop creativity and improvisational skills
• Discover each element in our own unique bodily language
The intention of this workshop is to restore balance on physical, mental, and emotional levels, while cultivating a deeper connection with breath, movement, and present-moment awareness, and entering a state of creative flow where improvisation arises naturally and effortlessly. We blend discipline with freedom, structure with spontaneity.
This combination is especially valuable for dancers, as Qigong develops energetic awareness, joint health, coordination, and internal flow, while intuitive dance enhances expression, creativity, and responsiveness — together supporting both technical ease and artistic freedom.
This workshop is open to all levels. No previous Qigong or dance experience is needed — just curiosity, openness, and a willingness to move. :)
The classes are designed to build progressively on one another, forming a coherent workshop journey, so participating in the full series is highly recommended for the deepest experience and learning.
The first session is open as a try-out class, allowing you to experience the practice before committing to the full series.
Participants who have studied with me before are warmly invited to get in touch if they are unable to commit to the full workshop series — we can discuss individual possibilities together.

Facilitator: Jácinta Gábor
Jácinta Gábor is a certified Qigong teacher and holistic counsellor with a deep love for conscious movement and creative exploration. Her work is rooted in present-moment awareness and draws on both ancient somatic practices and modern understanding of the nervous system and emotional regulation. Through Qigong and intuitive dance, she creates spaces where science meets poetry, structure meets freedom, and participants rediscover harmony in body, mind, and heart.
