Visible Mending

Tears, rips and holes are all part of the history of a textile. Rather than hide these "defects," the art of visible mending uses creative techniques to highlight the repair. In this class we'll turn flaws into design features by felting, stitching, and patching with intent. Mending materials will be provided. Please bring an item of clothing you'd like to mend. Ages 9 and up. $50
