On Saturday, our community came together to honor Seattle firefighter Joe Palombi and his family with a heartfelt fundraiser. Hosted by Doxsa Social House, Lil J’s Java, and Dirtbags Cornhole Club, the event was a testament to the power of unity and support.
Attendees included numerous Seattle firefighters, family friends, residents from Orting and Buckley, and even individuals from as far as North Bend. A particularly touching moment was the presence of a young girl whom Joe had previously resuscitated during a call; she attended to pay tribute to the man who saved her life. The highlight of the day was Joe’s appearance—despite a prognosis that gave him just 48 hours to live, he stood among us as a walking miracle.
Recognizing that Joe faces a long road ahead, we are organizing an auction to further support his family. The event will take place on May 24th at the Buckley Eagles. We are seeking donations for both live and silent auction items, as well as contributions for a dessert dash. Tickets are priced at $30, which includes a dinner plate and entry into the auction. Businesses interested in purchasing a table of eight can do so for $350, which includes logo placement. Groups are also welcome, and we can arrange seating accordingly.
Tickets are available at Doxsa Social House and Lil J’s Java in Orting. For inquiries or to offer assistance, please contact us at 253-389-1991.
Your support means the world to Joe and his family. Let’s continue to rally around them during this time.
THANK YOU!!
