Guided step by step, you’ll discover the age-old techniques of weaving with willow and leave the day with a beautiful, functional basket of your own making. Whether you use it for gathering apples and late berries, carrying garden tools, or as a stunning handmade gift, this basket will hold the memory of the day’s slow and mindful work.

• How to weave an oval basket base
• How to stake uprights and shape the sides
• How to work aFrench rand weave to form the sides, giving a lovely flowing pattern

No prior experience is necessary. Suitable for ages 14+ (under 16s must be accompanied by a participating adult). Please note that whilst this class is beginner friendly, willow weaving does require some finger strength and dexterity.
