Wow wow wow - Here it is, Riverfest in all its glory. A day of FREE activities to celebrate our water 💧
Experience the ✨magic✨ of RiverFest and make plans to join us on August 23 to experience yoga, paddling, live music, food, community, art, and more!!
📍Buckhannon Riverwalk Park (54 Wood Street, Buckhannon)
🛶Celebrations kick off with a 4.5 mile flatwater paddle from Hampton to Riverwalk. Drop your gear at Hampton 8:30-9:30, drive back to riverwalk, then our shuttles will transport you back to Hampton
☮️Yoga will start at 10:00AM with a peaceful sound bath & somatic session. This practice is for YOU to relax and is completed while lying down. We’ll have yoga every hour on the hour from 10am-2pm
🎶Elk River Ramblers will kick off the live music at 11:00AM. Later in the day, the Buckhannon Community Band will play at 2:15
🎨We’ll have interactive games, art projects, and workshops throughout the day for all ages. Check out our impressive list of partners and offerings
💙Kayak equipment will be available at the Riverwalk Park Boat Ramp from 10am-2:30pm. Sign ups will be available for a 30 minute time slots
🌿Outdoor gear swap will take place 1:00-3:00pm. Bring your gently used outdoor items for swap or giveaway!!
💧We’ll close with a water blessing. Please bring water from your local source to contribute!!
