Nestled within this historical tapestry lies Transylvania, a road cyclist's dream come true.

Our Transylvania Epic Road Bike tours are tailored for avid road cyclists seeking exhilarating challenges. Over three days, you'll embark on a challenging cycling adventure, traversing the Carpathian Mountains twice, from South to North and vice versa. Along the way, you'll spend a night in Sibiu, a former European Cultural Capital and one of Romania's most captivating medieval cities.

Your journey commences in the Horezu area, renowned for its UNESCO-listed pottery. Your accommodation awaits in a beautifully restored manor house in Maldaresti, nestled close to the Horezu region. This tour is designed for advanced cyclists, requiring participants to be regular riders with a solid fitness level. It promises an unforgettable cycling experience amidst Transylvania's scenic landscapes and historic allure.

• Climb the Transfagarasan Highway, the second highest road in Romania (2.042 m)
• Climb the Transalpina Road (Urdele Pass), the highest road in the Balkans & Eastern Europe (2.145 m)
