After quite a special open air encounter with Gerd Janson a few months back, DeDans returns to showcase another close connection of its resident and co-creator, Cosmin TRG. This time in the embodiment of Sascha Funke.

Sascha Funke connects the dots between East Berlin and Detroit, between Bpitch Control and Kompakt, beyond the average definition of techno and house. His unparalleled mixes breathe the euphoric spirit of the legendary Berlin club E-Werk and the heyday of 90s raving into contemporary dance floors.

Sascha’s friend and neighbour Cosmin TRG has carved a unique trajectory tangential to adventurous, modern dance music while planting firm roots in its rich, diverse histories.

DeDans is the brainchild of curator Tina Cucu and Cosmin TRG. A series of friendly exchanges, transfers and encounters on the Bucharest-Berlin axis. At its core: dance music in its plurality of expressions, forms and functions.
