Born in Tokyo in 1989, Junki Inoue is one of the rising stars of electronic dance music, known for his unique take on its rich history. A lifelong vinyl collector, Junki effortlessly navigates any DJ role. His sound blends Japanese precision with European warmth—deep, hypnotic, yet always energetic.
Junki’s journey into underground events began at Tokyo’s legendary Unit, where he was introduced to icons like Fumiya Tanaka and Zip. In 2012, his passion for diverse cultures led him to London, where he found a new creative home and the freedom to explore a more liberated, less formal DJing style.
As a respected figure in the global scene, Junki’s performances span from his residency with Cartulis to major clubs worldwide. Post-pandemic, he founded his label, SAISEI, dedicated to promoting top Japanese talent. With his infectious energy and understated style, Junki continues to earn respect across the world.
