This workshop offers a creative and experiential space to explore shame through the body, memory and objects. Through the NeuroPuppetry Method™, participants will work with practical exercises using animated forms (objects, materials and puppets), guided reflection, brief theoretical framing and group dynamics aimed at understanding the biology and the genesis of shame.
𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗼𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘀
From Santiago de Chile, currently based in Barcelona, Andrea is a PhD student at the University of Barcelona, researching therapeutic animated forms in trauma and memory in adults. Since 2016, she has co-founded and directed the International Puppet Therapy Program. She holds a master’s in Arts in Health and Art Therapy, and a postgraduate degree in Drama Therapy. Andrea has worked with diverse communities, including people with intellectual disabilities, survivors of political violence, individuals living with HIV/AIDS, and those affected by war and trauma. She taught Puppet Therapy & Trauma courses at FSF-Fachschule Figurenspieltherapieen in Olten (2024) and led the Puppet Therapy Academy at the Chuncheon Puppet Festival in South Korea (2022).

This workshop is intended for:
- university students in arts, psychology, education or related fields
- performing artists, puppeteers and creators
- psychosocial professionals, therapists and educators
- individuals interested in embodied practices, memory and creative processes
No previous puppetry experience is required.
