The #𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 interview series continues with two special editions as part of the Mastering the Music Business 2025 conference - Romania’s leading international music business event that brings together artists, managers, promoters, and industry professionals from all over the world to learn, network, and inspire.
The first HerStory interview will take place on 𝟏𝟎 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 at MMB and will spotlight 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐮𝐚, one of the UK’s highest-selling female recording artists, who will share her experiences, challenges, and the path that has shaped her into the accomplished artist she is today.
Born in Tbilisi, Georgia, Katie moved to the UK at a young age, studying at the acclaimed Brit School of Performing Arts. Known for her extraordinary voice and her ability to truly inhabit a song, she first rose to fame in 2003 at just 19 years old. Over the years, Katie has released 8 top 10 studio albums, sold over 11 million albums worldwide, and received more than 56 platinum awards.
In 2022, Katie welcomed her son Sandro and even brought him along on a European tour with her partner, openly sharing the realities of balancing a demanding music career with personal well-being and family life.
The interview will be 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐋𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐮 - radio presenter at Magic FM and one of the most respected voices in Romanian media.
The #𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 event series is a 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐈𝐧 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜 initiative aimed at bringing to the forefront the stories of successful women that can serve as sources of inspiration for both women and men alike.
