October 14 brings a night of dripping guitars and menacing drum beats in Control, as Weird Omen and Bad Decisions take to the stage.
Weird Omen - the constant force in France’s garage rock scene - have been at it for over a decade now.
An atypical trio, it spits a cryptic-hypnotic garage trance, blend of dented 60’s tones and hollow psychedelic néo-garage - all dressed in trash brass, reverb and fuzz.
Their releases arrive at regular intervals, and they rarely miss the mark. The last one, Blood (Beast Records) is no exception and the band continues to push its sound further. For the most part, they stick to their raw, primitive garage rock, often driven by an overblown saxophone. Yet, there are still discoveries to be made.

Local support comes from Bad Decisions - a Bucharest based punk band.
Their sound ranges from rageful post-punk to garage and an occasional touch of krautrock. Lyrics come in both English and Spanish, and vintage synths are used.
Originally formed by Andrew Luke from The Nuggs and Ovidiu Chihaia from Mes Quins, they are now joined by Ovidiu Bejan (The Amsterdams) and Vlad Niță (Cardinal).
They released their debut album 'Subnormal' on legendary Swiss label Voodoo Rhythm Records in 2022.
