Simona Delegeanu invites us onto the bridge between folklore and the urban. A true one-woman show, she moves fluidly between voice, instruments, and technology, creating a sound that resists easy categorization.
With a guitar in one hand and the caval in the other, surrounded by loopers and controllers, her voice seems to breathe beyond time and space. There is both warmth and unrest in her music, a firm refusal to settle into labels like folk, pop, R&B, dub, or trip-hop.
Drawing inspiration from Romanian folklore, which she reshapes with freshness and without nostalgia, Simona creates a new sonic world: reverberant, alive, and imperfectly beautiful.
