🇷🇴 Church of Cthulhu si 4KC live in Encore Club

Church of Cthulhu face zgomot din 2017. Initial un duo de Doom/Drone, trupa a explorat de-a lungul timpului toate cotloanele subgenului. Dupa debutul "Bring Back the Plague" si albumul "The Plague Tapes", Church of Cthulhu a devenit proiect solo si a lansat inca doua EP-uri pana in 2020, cand albumul "Nonexistence", inregistrat in plina pandemie, a adus colaborari cu artisti precum Costin Chioreanu, Calin Raduta, Bogdan Pavaloi, Mihai Ionescu si Aaron Wall.
Albumul duce eventual la cooptarea unui lineup complet care sustine zeci de concerte si lanseaza cinci materiale discografice. In decembrie 2024, Church of Cthulhu lanseaza splitul conceptual "Atottiitorul" cu Doomnezeu, sustinut de un mini-turneu national.

4KC este o trupa noua, cu oameni tineri si cat de cat tineri, care a aparut din cauza vietii grele a Bucurestiului, resimtite de niste provinciali, in contextul capitalismului turbat. Fake Punk for real situations poate descrie cel mai bine ce canta 4KC, deoarece in trupa nu se respecta vreo norma ori regula in muzica, dar nici vreun elitism al Punkului. Insa intamplarile despre care se canta in piese sunt reale si, de cele mai multe ori, sunt despre experientele reale si personale ale unuia sau mai multor membri din trupa.
Fara pretentii arogante, fara elitism true Punk, fara dumnezei si fara stapani, 4KC vrea sa te faca sa te simti bine si sa te distrezi, in timp ce rezonezi cu mesajele lor sau cu intamplarile despre care canta.

Church of Cthulhu has been making noise since 2017. Initially a Doom/Drone duo, the band has explored every corner of the subgenre over the years. After their debut "Bring Back the Plague" and the album "The Plague Tapes", Church of Cthulhu became a solo project and released two more EPs until 2020, when the album "Nonexistence", recorded during the pandemic, brought collaborations with artists such as Costin Chioreanu, Calin Raduta, Bogdan Pavaloi, Mihai Ionescu and Aaron Wall.
The album eventually led to the formation of a full lineup that has since played dozens of shows and released five records. In December 2024, Church of Cthulhu released the conceptual split "Atottiitorul" with Doomnezeu, supported by a national mini-tour.

4KC is a new band, made up of young people and somewhat young people, born out of the harsh life of Bucharest as experienced by a few provincials, in the midst of raging capitalism. Fake Punk for real situations is perhaps the best way to describe what 4KC plays, since the band doesn’t follow any rules or norms in music—nor do they cling to any kind of Punk elitism. Still, the stories told in their songs are real and, most of the time, drawn from the genuine and personal experiences of one or more band members.
Without arrogant pretensions, without “true Punk” elitism, without gods and without masters, 4KC just wants to make you feel good and have fun, while resonating with their messages or the stories they sing about.
