Note: This post provides instructions for ordering tickets and food for the Story Club event at Fernwood on August 21st.
We are excited that a new storytelling partner, Fernwood Botanical Garden, is hosting a Story Club SW MI gathering for the first time on the evening of Thursday, August 21st. Remarkable true stories shared by friends (old and new), family, and neighbors in a spectacular natural setting - sounds like a recipe for a delightful Michigan summer evening.
Ordering your tickets early -
To order your tickets please click on the link in the "Tickets" section of this post. Story Club tickets tend to go fast so please click here to order your tickets for August 21st .
If you wish to pre-order a boxed dinner from the Grateful Pie Company (who operate the cafe at Fernwood), please follow these steps:
1) Email your order - Sandwich type (See below), quantity, gluten-free if desired - directly to The Grateful Pie Company at

2) The Grateful Pie Company will email you back to confirm your order and provide you a secure link where you can pay for your dinner.
3) You will be able to pick up your dinner at Fernwood on the evening of the event starting at 6:00. Delicious, fruit pies will also be available for purchase at that time.

Cranberry Chicken Salad on a Croissant - Chef Barbara's version of the Fernwood favorite served with potato chips.
The Cornucopia - Homemade Whole wheat with Cream Cheese, Cucumbers and sprouts served with potato chips.
Veggie Lover's Sandwich - Homemade Whole Wheat Bread with Hummus, Cucumbers and Microgreens with a Balsamic Glaze served with potato chips.
FYI - We will not be offering a bar at this event. Complimentary iced tea ("Fernwood Tea") will be provided.
