✨ What is Sorghum?
Sorghum is a tall grain cane. The juice is pressed from the stalks, then slowly cooked down into a rich, sweet sorghum molasses. Long before refined sugar was common, sorghum molasses was a staple sweetener in Appalachia — poured on biscuits, drizzled on cornbread, and used in baking.
💲 Molasses for Sale: $10/pint • $20/quart
➡️ Proceeds from sorghum sales go directly to Swain County High FFA to support their trip to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis.

This Saturday only, a portion of every dollar spent at Darnell Farms will also be donated to Swain County High FFA to help fund their Indianapolis trip.
