Invision Diagnostics Mammogram Bus

We are excited to announce that the Invision Diagnostics Mammogram bus is coming to the Swain County Health Department! To schedule your appointment, visit appointments.invisiondiagnostics.com, and enter either the Zip Code (28713) or Event Name (Swain County). You can also call 877-318-1349 to book your spot.

Important Note: At least 15 appointments must be scheduled for Invision to visit.

Eligibility Criteria:

Women over 35 who have not had a mammogram in the past year are eligible. (Ages 35-39 are eligible for 1 scan within those years, while ages 40 and over are eligible annually). Please note that some insurances do not cover routine screenings for those under 40. If you are under 40, check with your insurance provider in advance to confirm coverage.
You must not be pregnant or breastfeeding.

Cost and Insurance Information:

Invision will process everything through your insurance company, so there is no cost to you!
For those without insurance, the fee is $200.
All images are compared to previous years' images and reviewed by a Breast Fellowship Board Certified Radiologist, then sent to the patient’s primary care provider.
You must have an established primary care provider to schedule an appointment, but no prescription is required.
