Join us for Railfest, a three-day celebration of railroading heritage in the heart of the Smoky Mountains! We’re kicking off the season with the return of our beloved steam engine, #1702, back on the rails for another year of unforgettable journeys. Enjoy live entertainment, local vendors, and hands-on activities for all ages. On Saturday, May 17, Scouts are invited to join our special Railroading Badge Day—our unique take on Scouts Day—filled with fun, learning, and rail-inspired adventures. Whether you're a train enthusiast, a history lover, or just looking for a one-of-a-kind family outing, Railfest has something for everyone.
