12 ANGRY MEN (1957)

In a sweltering jury room, eleven men are prepared to send an inner-city teen to the electric chair, but Juror #8 (Henry Fonda) demands they give the evidence a closer look, driving them toward an explosive moral reckoning. Among courtroom dramas, Sidney Lumet’s feature debut might just be the G.O.A.T.

The screening on Wednesday, September 17, is presented in conjunction with a Cinema Classics Seminar, taught by Amy Corbin, Ph.D.
