The 5th International Festival MUSIC ACADEMY FORTE - COMPETITIONS

International Competition Music Academy FORTE 2025 is opens for registration until 15th June 2025! Come join us!

COMPETITION (two options: Online OR On premise) | 

5 July 2025 online (video recording) OR 4-5 July 2025 on premise in Brussels*1| 

open for age 6 to adults (no age limit) (not necessary to be part of the masterclasses!):

One Round Competition WITHOUT PRE-SELECTION

Solo Instrument OR Singing (PROFESIONAL OR AMATEUR): 

Piano Guitar

Vocal: Classical Contemporary

Strings: Violin Viola Cello Double bass

Woodwinds: Flute Oboe Clarinet Bassoon

Brass: Trumpet French horn Trombone Tuba

ALSO Chamber Music OR Piano Ensembles (Duo or 4 hands) (PROFESIONAL OR AMATEUR)

*1 On Premise Competition will be held for two days (4-5 July) but each participant only needs to be there for one of the days. Priority to participate in the option on-premises on the 5th July is given to participants who are going to participate in the masterclasses.

Directly after the competition International Festival Music Academy FORTE will also host masterclasses opens for young musicians (age 8 to 25*) at Brussels Belgium. The masterclasses are open for piano, violin, viola, cello, flute, trumpet, vocal* (no age limit), guitar and composition in solo chamber music, opera and orchestra. 4 participation options are available for the masterclasses. In addition selected options (without solo lessons) are also available for oboe clarinet bassoon double bass trombone french horn and tuba. For more details please refer to website. 

The classes are provided by world-renowned musicians and influential personalities in the music world. This project is an initiative of the Brussels International Music Academy (BRIMA). 

In summary the fifth edition of International Festival Music Academy FORTE will take place in Brussels at the Sint-Jan Berchmanscollege on:

July 4-5 2025 : Competition* (without obligation to participate in the masterclasses)

July 6-12 2025 : Masterclasses Concerts
