straight out of the local mud of the city of antwerp comes dancing this souvenirs from imaginary cities slab of free-flowing bits of electronic wonder : schönen abend by simon b. four years in the making, this is the solo debut LP of simon b, a longtime contributor to antwerp's improvised music scene (groovecats deluxe, wij blij trio).
primarily a double bass player, he also has a deep-felt passion for offbeat electronica and the rainbowy side of american minimalism.

ugne & maria, a collaboration between marija rasa kudabaite and ugne vyliaudaite, are also joining.
the duo plays various experimentations using violin, synthesizers and sampling techniques. their compositions revolve around down-tempo as well as dance-oriented approach, including multi-layering composing principles and improvisation. Intricate and calming but far from ambient, in that where ambient music recedes ugne&maria's music sounds always close to the skin.
their music has been released on Interior insula, gems under the horizon, rocket recordings, and futura resistenza labels. also, the duo has a residency at kiosk radio, sharing their loved music monthly.
