The meeting location is Brussels-Central train station near the Starbucks at 8h45. We then take the train at 9h01 to Leuven, and then a bus to the castle (bus 41 at 9h48). This hikes ends at Vertrijk train station.
This hike is a not loop! But you can buy a round trip weekend ticket to Vertrijk to cover both train rides. For the bus, you can pay in the bus with your bank card or by SMS or with the app.
We should be back in Brussels by 18h at the latest.
You'll need to show your Eventbrite ticket for the hike when you join the group at the station. Tickets are refundable until 24 hours before the start of the hike. This event is for adults only.
Our speed will be moderate to fast. This means you have to have recent hiking experience and be in good shape. You'll need good hiking shoes or boots, and plenty of water (1.5L minimum) and your lunch.
