marija kovačević (srb-nyc)
serbian born, brooklyn based violinist marija kovačević works in classical, experimental and improvisational music and theater. her project “music for broken violins” is an exploration of sonic textures with broken violins, bows and their fragments. marija will perform after a week long residency at les ateliers claus.

pauline mikó (hun) & job worms (nl)
pauline mikó (1991, Brussels) is a curious mind. sound artist, textile designer, photographer and mother.
she graduated from la cambre and kask school of arts with a master in photography.
she published books and worked for magazines before moving to berlin where she started performing live music with connected plants under the name of PLUIES. since the pandemic, she creates natural wool rugs and wall pieces using the technique of tufting in her atelier located rue des pâquerettes in schaerbeek where she was born, raised and where she currently lives with her partner and her daughter anouk.
job worms (1992, amsterdam) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work focuses on discovery and perception. how we sense, interpret, and relate to the world around us. by drawing inspiration from nature and technology, he explores the tensions between the organic and the digital, the familiar and the unknown, and perception and incomprehension. his practice is shaped by influences such as pauline oliveros, john cage, alvin lucier, as well as mountains and synthesis
his practice is rooted in the idea that much of our environment exists beyond our perception. through installation, sound, and performance, he reveals hidden aspects of our surroundings, inviting viewers to reconsider how they engage with their environment.
together with artist pauline mikó, he forms opya, a performative electronic music duo where plants and machines interact. sound emerging from live signals between cables, roots, and stems.
worms holds a postgraduate degree in art in sound from kask (gent, 2020). His work has been presented at ars electronica, design museum gent, kiosk gent, and kennedy van der Laan.
