Meg is an emerging jazz vocalist and improviser based in Melbourne. Currently a Jazz and Improvisation student at Monash University, studying under the guidance of Emma Gilmartin, Michelle Nicolle and Louisa Rankin, her studies have immensely inspired her creativity as a vocalist and band leader. Taking inspiration from the likes of Sarah Vaughan, Jazzmeia Horn and Joni Mitchell, Meg showcases her vocal purity and versatility through her diverse repertoire.
Meg had the pleasure of being a finalist for the Generations in Jazz Vocal Scholarship in 2023 and 2025. She has performed in well-known Melbourne venues such as the Jazzlab, Paris Cat Jazz Club, The Count’s, as well as taken part in the Melbourne International Jazz Festival, Inverloch Jazz Festival and Newport Jazz Festival. Meg is part of a vocal trio that performs regularly in Melbourne with the Will Jones Big Band, playing the music of the Andrews Sisters. She has had the honour of performing with many Australian jazz legends including Paul Grabowsky AO, Kristin Berardi, Andrea Keller, Paul Williamson, Sam Anning, Brett Williams, James Sherlock, Danny Fischer, Kyrie Anderson and Grant Windsor.
