BASS.IC PRESENTS: BENJAMIN

BASS.IC is BACK for a night full of high energy dance music, pulsing visuals, and an electric atmosphere August 9th in the Howler Theatre.

Headlining the event is Benjamin, a DJ and producer in who is in the midst of a massive new wave of techno sounds deriving from Melbourne, Australia. He only started mixing and producing techno / house at the start of 2022 and has gained a massive following along with viral songs that have been played all over Melbourne clubs. Dabbling in drill techno and remixes of popular songs has seen Benjamin rapidly rise from both home and overseas.

On support is Sammy La Marca, another Melbourne-based DJ and producer delivering sleek, hypnotic techno with a distinct nod to groove, minimalism, and late-night sophistication. Known for his precise selections and refined control of energy, Sammy’s sets move seamlessly between stripped-back rollers and deep, driving rhythms—cementing his place in Australia’s evolving underground soundscape.
