ROOTS EXPLOSION SOUNDSYSTEM:
Roots Explosion is a soundsystem crew from Bruges, Belgium that was founded in 2016. The crew consists of five core members with a common love for reggae music and soundsystem culture. Their main goal is to promote said culture and organize affordable and accessible dances for music lovers young and old. Roots Explosion is playing all kinds of Jamaican music, dubplates and homemade productions, with the emphasis on playing their hand built soundsystem like their predecessors used to do in the golden days of reggae music, when rub-a-dub riddims reigned the dance hall.
Roots Explosion has played at festivals like Couleur Café, Reggae Geel, Reggaebus Festival, Campo Solar, Humble Festival, Space Safari and Ardennes Soundsystem Weekender.
JOE 90 (UK- Java Nuclear Power Sound):
Joe 90 is based in West-London and has been part of the Java Nuclear Power Sound from NW10 since the early 1980s. He's been in the business for over 40 years and has travelled the world with acts by the likes of General Levy, Dawn Penn and many more. Joe is a very energetic MC with and bottomless bag of lyrics and an impeccable style. Vibes guaranteed!
