Running can be a lonely sports sometimes... Well, NOT ANYMORE! Abbie and I are doing a run-together for everyone in the Bruges area who wants to run with likeminded individuals. Expats, tourists, and locals alike are welcome. Come make new friends along the way.
This time we will run along the shoreline. We start at the trainstation of Zeebrugge and will run towards Blankenberge, where it is possible to take the train back to Bruges or wherever you want to go. Trein ticket prices are at weekend value, which is a 50% reduction from the standard price!
I will take the train from the Bruges main station to Zeebrugge-Strand at 8.34 am on track 4. Join my cabin!
Note that this is not a start-to-run program, neither is this a highly competitive event. This is a social event and we are mindful of runners with lower speeds. It would be advised if you are able to run at least 5 kilometers. Look at it as a way to upkeep your fitness level, or as a recovery run. Depending on the turnout and situation, the group can be split up.
So, put on your running shoes and shorts, and join us. We start off with a warm-up and end with stretching.
Start Location: In front of the trainstation of Zeebrugge-Strand.
End Location: Blankenberge
Warm-up start: 9 am. Please don't be late or you'll have to catch us up.
