At Contina Lab, Dr. Contina and his students study the ecological mechanisms underlying species resilience under local and global change, with emphasis on migratory populations. Their research informs conservation plans that increases wildlife protection, sustainable resource management, and creates opportunities for interdisciplinary education in the Lower Rio Grande Valley.
