An introduction for young people over 12 to the work we do at EquineCoach.
Understanding and managing our emotions.
A safe environment for the young to learn;
- Emotions are normal
- How emotions get trapped in our body
-How we can safely express emotions
-Learning techniques to become more resilient
A short 121 will be available for all participants.
Parents can be on site but will have restricted access due to health and safety.
Our horses are non ridden. Work with the horses depends on how much they want to interact, we do not work on lead ropes, they are free to choose.
The event will also include an understanding of how horses can help us recognise how our emotions effect us and others and what we may need to change or improve in ourselves.
Snacks and drinks will be available.
Limited numbers to ensure everyone has a 121 opportunity.
Helping our young become resilient for their future.
Happy to arrange a no obligation call for more information
I've had a lot of questions about our planned Young Person's Event on 17th August, so reposting here. One of the prominent trends coming up is how many young people need help they are not always getting. With what I've been asked in mind, I am lowering the age bracket to 9 years old. I am also offering private Introduction sessions to those who may feel anxious in a group scenario. We have already welcomed our first young person to EquineCoach and they had their private Introduction session this last week, and will be returning to start full 121 sessions. The cost of the Event is £45 per person in a group. The event is 4 hours and includes snacks and drinks. For those more comfortable in a private session, the cost is £35 for approximately 2 hours and is a 121. There is no obligation following the event, it is simply for young people to gain an insight into why they feel the way they do, how our body processes emotion, why emotions become stuck in our body and step 1 techniques to start becoming more resilient. They will understand how the horses can remind us who we are and how working with the herd can improve emotional well-being. As well as enjoy being around animals and in a beautiful, peaceful setting. You do not need to have had any previous experience with horses. There is no riding or head collar work involved. The team will be in attendance at all times and attendees feeling safe is our priority. Please do get in contact to chat more about either the group event or a private introduction. Or just come and enjoy the herd 🦄
