Our thursday evening skate is for 16 years and over.
A nice casual pace where you will be able to develop skills and learn new techniques without the worry of running over a child.
The evening has a greast vibe where you can enjoy a skate with link minded fellow skaters.
There is a cafe on site will close at around 8pm so if you wanted to get a drink, make sure you arrive early.
Skate hire: £2.00 on site
For those requiring skate hire make sure to arrive early as the sakte hire facilities close at approx 8:10, simply head over to the skate cabin and you will be able to get your skates from the staff on site. At the end of the night please return skates to Garry at the exit.

Rink Rules
Safety & Responsibility: Skaters use the facilities at their own risk. Skaters are responsible for ensuring their own and others’ safety and should wear appropriate safety equipment and ensure that their equipment is up to the recommended safety standards at all times. Skating is a risk sport; therefore the MRA does not accept any responsibility for the welfare or safety of those who visit the rink under any circumstances. The MRA and its staff are not responsible, nor will be held liable for the injury or death of any person whilst on or in the premises.
Equipment & Personal Belongings: Use of own equipment such as skates, body armour and helmets is permitted. The MRA does not provide equipment for hire, but safety pads are available to use, free of charge. The MRA does not take any responsibility for loss or damage to the personal belongings.
Vehicles: Cars and vehicles are parked on the grounds at the owner’s risk. The MRA does not take any responsibility for loss or damage to the contents of or to any vehicle which is located on the premises.
Bookings: Bookings for the thursday adult skate are made via this page and we operate a non-refundable policy for all bookings. Bookings cannot be amended once booked.
Payment:. SmoothSkate accepts payment online.
Accessibility: All facilities feature a ground floor location and the majority are accessible via a ramp or flat surface. The car park has a gravel surface. A limited number of wheelchairs can be accommodated in the spectators’ area adjacent to the rink. If you require assistance at any point during your visit please Garry beforehand and help will be provided where necessary.
Food & Drink: A vending machine is located on-site. Visitors are permitted to bring their own food and drink. Please ensure that all rubbish such as drink cans and wrappers are removed from the site and either placed in the rubbish bins provided or taken away. No alcohol is allowed on the premises. Food must not be taken onto the rink, but can be consumed in the spectator seating areas. Chewing gum is not permitted on the premises.
Smoking: Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the arena building and in any covered or indoor spaces.
Animals: Dogs are only allowed in the car park if on a lead and under control. Guide and hearing dogs can be taken into the spectator seating areas.
