Brooch Club - August 30th Meet Up - The Metal Space - Brookvale

With the exhibition on the horizon, this session centres on concept and presentation.

We'll use the morning to:

• Share ideas or prototypes and offer constructive feedback
• Discuss curatorial themes for the exhibition “Material Matters”
• Explore ways to write and talk about your work
• Review timelines and logistics for the show (including install, catalogue, artist bios, etc.)

This is a working session for deepening your project. Whether you have one resolved brooch or multiple ideas in progress, we’ll help clarify your next steps toward exhibition readiness.

Whether you’re a regular brooch-maker or looking to revisit this format, this is your launchpad.

This is a peer-focused event – ideal for jewellers with an existing practice.

Each Brooch Club meet is hosted in two locations (at the same time) - choose the best location for you - all meets are hosted via this Eventbrite profile - register to secure your spot.

Brooch Club is an initiative to bring our jewellery community together, supported by local Creative Spaces and JMGA NSW.

A suggested donation of $15 per meet helps cover running costs (you can bring it along on the day), but if contributing isn't possible for you right now, please don’t let that be a barrier. Everyone is welcome, regardless of financial means.
