Make plans now to attend our next 3rd District Meeting. Urge your members and especially the younger folks to attend so that they can see what all we do.
Several items of note that night. KDFWR will be present to award the 3rd District with their Partnership Plaque for 2025!
Edwin Nighbert, the NRA Liaison for LKS, will be presenting a brief seminar on how to apply for NRA Grants and funding, deadline dates, forms, etc. This is a big plus for our clubs that need $$ for all types of events....youth events, gun ranges & equipment, veterans events, etc. Note that the NRA gives out hundreds of thousands of dollars each year for shooting ranges, clubs, and events but there are strict guidelines that must be followed in the application process. Edwin will be providing that information and taking questions.
Lots of updates from the recent State Convention, a lot of legislative events including our big win to stop the sale of public lands, new statutes, etc.
Doors will open by 6 PM but the meeting will not start until 7 PM.
