Мы поделимся с вами историей праздника, расскажем, как одна отважная девушка и ее находчивый дядя перехитрили вредного чиновника, превратив потенциальную катастрофу в национальный карнавал. Главным событием станет чтение вслух яркой книжки от PJ Library, которую мы с радостью подарим каждой семье, чтобы вы могли еще раз перечитать эту историю дома.

​Сразу после чтения мы откроем мастерскую по созданию масок, где из перьев, блесток и картона вырастут самые невероятные образы для нашего большого костюмированного парада. Все желающие смогут продемонстрировать свои наряды и самодельные маски в торжественном шествии между книжными полками под веселую музыку.

Чтобы жизнь не казалась слишком простой, юных гостей ждет запутанный квест по магазину с поиском секретных посланий и разгадыванием хитроумных планов Амана.

А когда все загадки будут решены и парад завершен, на выходе каждого гостя будет ждать традиционное сладкое угощение – легендарные гоменташи, которые в народе называют «ушами Амана», чтобы праздник оставил после себя исключительно приятное послевкусие.

​Purim at Kvartira will transform our book space into a noisy, cheerful carnival where ancient Persian legends set the stage for our warmest family party yet. We approach this holiday as a secular cultural celebration, focusing on the story of how a brave girl and her clever uncle outsmarted a grumpy official, turning a potential disaster into a massive national carnival. The heart of the day is a lively reading of a PJ Library Purim book, and we will give a copy to every family so you can relive the adventure at home.

​The creativity begins right after the story at our mask-making workshop where feathers, glitter, and cardboard will help you build the wildest characters for our grand costume parade. Everyone gets to show off their outfits and handmade masks in a festive procession through the bookshelves to some very upbeat music. To keep the energy high, young guests can test their wits with a scavenger hunt throughout the store to track down secret messages and foil Haman’s latest tricky plans.

​Once the mysteries are solved and the parade winds down, a traditional sweet treat awaits every guest. These legendary hamantaschen, playfully known as Haman’s ears, ensure the holiday leaves a delicious aftertaste. Please note that both the event and the books we are gifting are in Russian.
