Yoon Sun Choi Quartet plays Operation Gig

Vocalist and composer @yoon.sun.choi brings her adventurous quartet to the stage for an afternoon of dynamic, genre-defying music. Known for her fearless improvisation and deeply expressive voice, Choi draws from jazz, songwriting, and experimental traditions to create music that is both intricate and emotionally direct. She’s joined by longtime collaborators Jacob Sacks (keyboards), Lim Yang (bass), and Vinnie Sperrazza (drums)—three of NYC’s most versatile improvisers. Together, they shape spontaneous compositions that are spacious, rhythmic, and deeply alive. This is music that embraces risk, beauty, and the unexpected.
