~~What Happened Was True~~

After the police discovered the gruesome massacre that took place in the Ridgewood Slaughterhouse in the summer of 1972, the condemned building was then demolished and rebuilt as a psychiatric rehabilitation hospital.

For centuries, the United States has locked away people with mental illnesses. The Ridgewood Asylum in New York was one of about 170 psychiatric hospitals in the country. Hospitals that tried to meet the needs of their patients and practiced unconventional, inhumane treatments. People felt that science was being pushed too far. Unspeakable horrors ensued during their operating years.

The Ridgewood Asylum closed down in the fall of 1980. Numerous violent cases of paranormal activity have been reported since, and no one dared to enter until 2018 when a group of reckless youth entered the building searching for thrills…and were never seen again.

It’s been 5 years since the police discovered the horrific events that took place at the abandoned Ridgewood Asylum. Countless bodies were uncovered; all of the autopsies declared them victims of gruesome deaths. No killer was ever found, and the condemned building has remained closed.
