About the Event:
Founded in 1946 by Ethical Culture leader Algernon Black and Alice “Nanny” Pollitzer, the Encampment for Citizenship (EFC) is a national nonprofit that cultivates youth leadership and builds intergenerational community in the service of social and economic justice.
Join EFC staff and alums as they present their current programming and initiatives — especially in light of today’s challenges to democracy and human rights. The session will include time for reflection and dialogue, and for identifying ways the Brooklyn Ethical community and EFC can work together to meet this moment.
Featuring music by the Brooklyn Women’s Choir and inspired presenters:
