We're Raising our Voices - Silence is not an Option!
Join us for cocktails, small bites, and music in Brooklyn on Monday, October 6th, as we raise our voices (and the roof) for an evening of community and song benefitting The Hometown Project.
Funds raised will support our ongoing civic engagement programs across the country during this crucial time in our democracy, including our work this year in New Jersey, Virginia and Pennsylvania.
Rooted in community, together, we can lift up local leadership, energize communities, and turn intention into action.
It will be a night of protest songs and readings from passages of inspiring political speeches and monologues, featuring Billy Crudup, Piper Perabo, Steven Pasquale, Michael Shannon, Joel De La Fuente, Okieriete "Oak" Onaodowan, Judy Kuhn, Abena Koomson-Davis, Peter Salett, Seth Herzog, and other artists and Hometown Energizers with musical accompaniment by Joe McGinty & Ray Rizzo.
Host Committee: Derek Buckner & Joanna Hershon, Lynn Gaffney, Jason George, Michaela Kaliner, Chris Lu, Lawrence Henry
