REFUGE and LADYFAG present Jacob Wasson’s play SMUTA for a limited run beginning October 9th- starring James Scully (Broadway’s “Oh Mary”) and Augustus Prew (Apple TV’s “The Morning Show”) with direction by Niamh Jones (Angry Alan).
A macabre love story set in 2019 Moscow’s queer underground, Jacob Wasson’s SMUTA is an epic unsanctioned thought-experiment about violence, public sex, and emotional exile at the end of the world.
Performances begin October 9th for a limited run.
