Join Friends of the Congo and Sincerely, Tommy for Roots & Rhythms: Bed- Stuy for the Congo- a community gathering blending music, movement, and mission in support of the people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Part of the 18th Annual Congo Week(October 19–25, 2025), this evening brings Brooklyn’s creative spirit together with global consciousness through live music, dance, fashion, and purposeful giving.

• Live Performance & Dance Lessonby renowned Congolese artist Nkumu Katalay — feel the heartbeat of Congo through rhythm and movement.
• Congo Roots & Rhythms Playlist— a soundtrack for solidarity, available via QR code in-store and online.
• Limited-Edition Collaboration T-Shirt by Sincerely, Tommy × Lumumba × Friends of the Congo — 100% of proceeds benefit frontline efforts in the DRC.

Proceeds from the event support Friends of the Congo’s work on the ground — defending the land, protecting the environment, rescuing children from mines, and providing healing for women survivors of violence.
