A longtime La Bella Strings artist, Oskar Cartaya has been a driving force in the bass community for decades. He has collaborated with an extraordinary range of artists, including Spyro Gyra, Jennifer Lopez, Tito Puente, and Celia Cruz.
Over the course of his remarkable career as a bassist, composer, arranger, and musical director, Oskar has drawn from the rich influences of his roots in Puerto Rico, and his time in New York and Los Angeles, to develop a sound that is uniquely his own.
