Intro to Kombucha Brewing

Learn the fundamentals of brewing Kombucha and mix up a batch of starter to take home! We'll be going through how to start your first fermentation and confirm your SCOBY is growing properly, then how to keep it going for many happy batches. Class registration includes a brief presentation and a jar of Kombucha starter for you to take home! We'll also brainstorm flavors for your first batch and what ingredients are good or bad to use.

This class is open to absolute beginners. Just bring yourself and be prepared to carry a large jar of liquid home with you.

Stefan, your instructor, has been tending to batches of kombucha for almost two years and feeding his current SCOBY in New York for half a year.

This is a masks optional event.
