First and Second Date Blues

JJ and Sabina meet on Bumble and go for a drink. Sabina is trying to forget her ex, a “sexy, selfish, sculptor from San Sebastián.” Meanwhile, JJ is a nice Jersey boy who’s often been told he gives “the ick.” Unfortunately he gives one to Sabina—on the very first date!

Then there’s Murph and Emma, who go on a first date to one of Manhattan’s finest restaurants. Murph is out to woo her—he can tell Emma is a prize (or an ice princess, depending on your POV). Then they get too drunk and go home together, totally going against her usual rules!

First and Second Date Blues deals with these classic dating dilemmas: who pays? Is sex on a first date a deal-breaker? Of course, there’s a twist at the end that shows the foursome are a lot closer than they actually realized!!

**this is the sequel to First Date Blues, which went up at the Rat theater last May! The original first act will be performed, with a new second act added!!**
