Echoes of Resistance: Revolutionary Sounds from Palestine

Revolutionary music has always been the soul of Palestinian resistance — a defiant echo of Sumud and an unyielding cry for freedom.

Join PYM at Widdi Catering Hall for Echoes of Resistance: Revolutionary Sounds from Palestine, an evening showcasing the rich heritage of Palestine through music, art, and performance. This program will feature a NYC-debut performance by the NYC Palestinian Youth Choir, a PYM project that brings together youth from the diaspora to revive and preserve Palestinian culture, history, and the spirit of resistance through music. From Palestinian folk songs that are over a century old to songs featuring poetry written in the 60's and 70's, the choir uses music as a tool for organizing, education, and connection, remembering where we come from and reminding us of the path we're walking.

We’ll serve light refreshments and feature vendors, art exhibitions, a raffle, and more! Join us for an evening of culture, creativity, and community as we immerse ourselves in the spirit of revolution and our collective movement for liberation.

All proceeds from the evening will go towards the ongoing international campaign for Gaza through Middle East Children’s Alliance.
