Hello beautiful people!
Joshua Huff here.
Welcome to the first until “Claws for a Cause: A Feast for Alzheimer’s” in honor of my late mother, Anita Huff❤️🩹
Anita used to host crab feasts every year to bring people together with good food, good music, and good times. This feast is in honor of her journey with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and the subsequent avenue of Alzheimer’s and Other Related Dementias (ADRD).
These annual feasts will be held to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association’s, and other foundations, in efforts to advance treatment, continuum of care, and community resources for individuals living with dementia and their care partners.
As someone who was a care partner and caregiver for 7 years, I feel this is the very least I can do to help fill the gap in a time where community resources are more scarce than ever.
Thank you all in advance for continuing to show up for the things that matter. Together we WILL move mountains. In honor of Anita and all those we have loved and lost.
