Half of us lost loved ones to COVID. All of us were impacted by the pandemic. How do we process our memories of that time? What would true healing look like?
Breathing Room is a documentary exploring memory, art, and healing in the wake of 2020. Our film traces the evolution of two COVID memorials over three years, spotlighting the artistry and joy behind these projects. A memorial in itself, Breathing Room commemorates lives lost and communities changed by COVID and celebrates the healing power of art.
