Intro to Hand-Built Pottery (10 Weeks)

Instructor - Maryjane Carlson

Dates - 10 weeks on Wednesdays from: September 17th until November 19th

Time - 6 PM until 9 PM

Comprehensive pottery class exploring clay and hand-building techniques. Students will learn:

Pinch pots
Slab building
Coil pottery
Building over open and closed forms
Glazing
Decorating techniques
How to fire your clay

Member Price - $165

Non-Member Price - $185

+ $15 - Kiln Firing Fee for the class

Materials and Tools Needed: A reccomenended list of materials will be provided on the first day of class. Some tools are availible to use in the classroom.

You will need to purchase a $65 block of clay directly from the instructor, Maryjane Carlson. This cost includes the use of most of the available glazes.
