BRONX - Bronx: West Farms Rapids Park Stewardship Projects

Join Bronx River Alliance and NYC Parks for a cleanup, native vegetation planting, and invasive species removal project at West Farms Rapids Park from 10 AM to 12 PM for the 14th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep. This is a rain or shine event.

Volunteers will meet at West Farms Rapids Park, 1087 E Tremont Ave, Bronx, NY 10460.

We recommend that all Sweep volunteers bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, insect repellent, work gloves and hand sanitizer.

This site is not suitable for elementary-aged children.

• Volunteers are required to pre-register for Sweep.
• Volunteers should not participate if they have ANY signs of illness.
