Volunteer Gardening in Priory Gardens

Our friendly gardening group meets in the formal gardens near The Priory building on Monday mornings (excluding bank holidays) between 10am and 1pm, to look after the herbaceous beds and borders as the seasons change.

If you relish fresh air, some exercise, and good company to boost your health and wellbeing, please join us on Monday mornings.

Or, if you are visiting Priory Gardens on a Monday morning and would like to find out more about volunteering, please say hello and hear how our volunteer gardeners are helping maintain, restore and enhance the historic Grade II listed Arts & Crafts and Italianate style gardens designed and created by Cecil and Lilian Hughes between 1919 and 1941.
