Maggie's Arran Challenge 2025

Join us on day 1 as we cycle 57 miles around Arran and take in the sights and sounds of one of Scotland’s most beautiful and accessible islands. Day 2 of your challenge will see you hiking to the summit of the spectacular Goatfell and enjoying the incredible scenery of Scotland in Miniature.

Registration is £100 which includes ferry transport to and from Arran, all meals for both days and a Maggie's Cycling Jersey. The fundraising target for this event is £500.

The Arran Challenge is the perfect opportunity to get out and see the best of what Scotland has to offer whilst raising vital funds for Maggie's Glasgow. Our logistics team and #TeamMaggies are there every step of the way to encourage you, making sure that you're safe, and importantly, ensuring that you can complete this monster challenge.

Rough event schedule:

Saturday
09:45am – Ferry Crossing from Ardrossan
10:45am – Arrival at Brodick
13:30pm – Blackwaterfoot for Lunch
16:00pm – Arrive at Lochranza
19:00pm – Dinner served by Maggie's Team

Sunday
8:30am – Leaving Lochranza
10:30am – Goatfell Climb
12:30pm – Lunch on the Hill
18:00pm – Goatfell Completed
18:30pm – Chippy!
19:20pm – Ferry back to Ardossan
